I’m a team leader/coach for a call center so the process of how customer service should be given is very apparent to me but on 7/30/15 I contacted customer service and was requesting to have service restored being that payment of $240 was just made on 7/22/15, along with having bill lowered as well. I have never gone through the process of having service disconnected and was advised that as long as payment is made by a certin day of the month account would stay current and to my finding wasn’t true. I do understand the nature of business is to make money and having loyal customer to retain business but Due to the mis-information that was given about my bill cycle date and how bill post to the account, along with not being made aware of a contract that was started back in Feb. So with not being able to receive help to restore service after almost a 3yr relationship I will be cancelling service once new provider has been installed on 8/2/15.

after paying for 3.0mbps 3 yrs and having to call tech support 100 times at least. almost every tech that was out here said that I could never get that speed here because of the distance to a server or tower. yet nothing was ever changed for a little more than three years. finally they adjusted my charges when they talked me into changing to u-verse . they only charge me for 1.5 mbps now. every time I run a test out of frustration of waiting I get readings of 1.02mbps download and around 19-28 upload. I remember when I first started on a computer I had a 56k speed and it feels just like that did. the fcc is going to raise the threshold for highspeed to 4.0mbps. hell just give me 3.0 and I would be a happy man, but don’t charge me for highspeed and give me snailspeed. we are being taken from every angle people.
